"Little Red" is a completed screenplay that I've been trying to solicit for several years. I had a producer looking at it and said that it was 'perfect' and was even setting up casting but was never able to get funding. It is a paranormal thriller that brings the fairytale to life in a plausible if unexpected way and takes place in Northern California.
"Coma" is my first novel that I am writing about a woman with bipolar disorder who tries to kill herself and ends up in a coma. While inside her mind she uses her subconscious to heal her emotional wounds. It is a very complex plot but I can't give it all away, right? This piece is considered sci-fi fantasy with the moral being to try to understand and accept those with mental illnesses rather than shun them.
"Broken" is another novel I've been piecing together about human trafficking. I can see this being a movie one day because it's a subject of much interest. I intend to write it in a way that is not uncomfortable for readers/viewers so that the message is not lost. This one is considered current event fiction. The plot is very emotional and potent and the moral is, obviously, that we need to help those who are trafficked and to stop it any way possible. It's modern day slavery! It's unacceptable!
"American Woman" is a screenplay that I'm eventually turning into a novel. It is about a woman who is fed up with her life and decides to leave. She travels the world and comes across a tribe of Amazon where she becomes a member. This is considered fiction, I suppose, because it's not really sci-fi or fantasy (I don't think). Anyway, the plot so far is pretty simple but I'm working on making it deeper. The moral is that women are capable of so much more than we have become and we need to change that!
"Woodpile Cats" is a series of children's books that my grandpa had created and outlined before he died. It is NOT to be confused with the 'Warriors' series. It is actually about ferrel cats acting like ferrel cats. It is meant to teach children about cats and surviving in the wild (something everyone should know how to do).
"Rockpile Charlie" is a children's story based on a real life experience from my grandpa. This is a science fiction, innocent and fun loving story for teens and preteens. That's weird, I never noticed it had a similar name to the above story idea. Funny! Anyway, a brother and sister witness a homeless man living on the Feather River traveling in and out of our dimension. I don't really have much more than that, yet. The moral will be that children these days are spoiled and need to appreciate a simpler time, where hard work paid off and you actually DID hard work.
"The 4D Rule" is a science fiction, current event, thriller based on what would happen if Al Gore and Bill Clinton's environmental plans had succeeded. Socialism has taken over America and we are all living in 'bubbles' to control us and segregate us from the environment.
"Don't Leave Home" is an idea I had for quite a while but didn't put altogether until I heard the Dido song of the same name. It has since become a current event fiction piece where a military family is left to fend for themselves when terrorists attack the base while their father is away on a special forces mission to stop terrorism. This piece is my tribute to military families and the sacrifices they make. I truly believe they hold this country together!
"Chat" is an idea I had for a television dramedy and inspired by all of us women who sat around chatting on the 'Gerard Butler dot Net site'. We all became great friends and had some of the best laughs we've ever had. Just thinking about the 'pants' makes me smile.
"Wrong About Me" is a poem/song I wrote about my father-in-law and family-in-law that never understood me in the eighteen years I was with their son. They were liberal Mormons from the city and I was a conservative atheist from the back woods. Wow! The fireworks!!
Well, these are just a few of the MANY story ideas that I have. I see stories in every experience I have. I even have sci-fi stories about rock-hounding!! If you need it, I can write it!!

About me
Well, I grew up with a very different life situation. We were dirt-floor poor, rednecks living in a trailer in northern California (which to those of us from up north means north of Sacramento, so anything south of that is NOT northern, it's southern!) I grew up learning how to live off the land and appreciate it at the same time. I was taught appreciation for history and science fiction, so basically, where we came from and where we're going. I was teased in school because I was a heathen bastard child with salvation army clothes and the first one in my class to grow boobs. It didn't help that I was blonde. I really could've cared less for school and really only liked writing and recess. I only learned to love learning in adulthood!!
I've been married, divorced, married again, been the other woman and been cheated on, used, misused and unappreciated.
I've been a great mom and a horrible mom but I'd do absolutely anything for my kids and my mama.
I've been the best friend in the world and the worst enemy.
I've been in need of medication and addicted to it.
I've been down so low I thought I'd never get back up, and so happy I burst crying.
I've loved so much it hurt and hated so bad that I thought I could kill.
I've given birth three times, twice without pain killers, and I've survived the death of loved ones.
I'm a patriot to this country, a Republican, that doesn't go along with their positions on stem cell research, abortion, or women's rights. In fact, I'm Atheist! What kind of Republican am I? One that believes in America and the constitution and not communisim, socialism or marxism. I love philosophy, but that's all just theoretic bullshit.
I'm for capital punishment, and in fact, think they should just clean out the prisons, line 'em up an' shock 'em, and save the taxpayers some money. I'm all for putting up a fifty foot wall between us and Mexico AND Canada and shooting anyone that tries to cross. Do like our ancestors and immigrate to become an American, learn English, and contribute to this country. Do NOT come here, get on welfare and/or send the money back to your own country. Better yet, fix your own damn country like we did ours!!
My 'happy place' is where I am right now, writing, listening to music and drinking a Smirnoff, knowing my kids are safe and sound and knowing my mom loves me no matter what. The only way it'd be better is if my mom lived here with me and I had a Mt.Dew and Doritos, but that's okay, I'll live.

First posting, subjects of interest
I have had a strange life and experience in many situations, jobs, and relationships. I can say 'been there, done that' about pretty much everything. I never stop learning, reading, and getting to know people because I enjoy finding as many interesting life lessons as possible.
I have many, many story ideas on many, many subjects. I particularly love writing about current events and historical events in an action/romance setting. Science fiction is also a strong point for me and I have an extensive list of topics to write about there, too! I have written poetry, songs, screenplays and children's books and am working on my first full novel.
Some subjects of personal interest:
History-Hypatia of Alexandria, Nefertiti, Amazons, dinosaurs, pioneers, philosophy, etc.
Current Events-politics, religion, human trafficking, capital punishment, environment, etc.
Science Fiction-interdimensional, possible futures, space travel to other planets, subconscious minds, etc.
Paranormal-I used to be an X-phile, so anything and everything paranormal interests me.
Authors-Andre Norton, Anne McCaffrey, Charles Grant, James Fenimore Cooper, Michael Crichton.
Music-Country, hard rock, classic rock, modern and some blues.
Movies-Action, romance, comedy and those that have all three.
General interests/favorites:
Rock-hounding, geology, anthropology, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, photography, volleyball, soccer.
(gawd, this is starting to sound like a singles ad!)
I love all kinds of music and some of my favorites are Sugarland, JoDee Messina, The Wreckers, Chet Atkins, Alana Davis, Nora Jones, Dido, The Corrs, No Doubt, Korn, Nickelback, Heart, Def Leppard, Bree Sharp, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Five for Fighting, Shawn Mullins, Evanescence, Bell Book & Candle.
My favorite movies are The Last of the Mohicans, Braveheart, Gladiator, Troy, anything with Gerard Butler (yum), anything with Jim Carey, anything with Kate Hudson (cutest of the cuties), Galaxy Quest (all time fave), Knocked Up, Indiana Jones and all those classics, of course.
